“The Blessed Ranieri Frees the Poor from a Prison in Florence” from around the year 1440 is a painting in the Louvre by Stefano di Giovanni. I just love how the Blessed Ranieri levitates! The beard on the left is literally salt and pepper. Ranieri’s twee mustache and beard are cinnamon.
