Pop Tart

It’s a pop tart, it pops, it’s pop art and Betty’s a tart. Similar to Betty Cracker, measuring a pop tart provided the size and placement of icing and filling ooze holes. Foam, covered by a bedsheet and stapled in place, made the dough part. The icing is foam board insulation covered with spackle, paint and dyed orzo for sprinkles. Lots of oil-based polyurethane produces a faded, sepia-ish finish.
